ITTF World Tour Tuesday 17th January Report

The British Women started brightly in Hungary with Joanna Parker comfortably seeing away Daniela Moskovitis 4-1 in her first qualifying match. Kelly Sibley also looked very strong showing her confidence levels in the run up to the Olympics with a tidy 4-0 victory over Csilla Nagypal. They play again tomorrow on the 18th January to hope to qualify for the main draw.

In the Mens qualifying both Drinkhall and Baggaley comfortably won their first matches of the tournament with a 4-1 win over Lau Tobiar from Denmark for Drinkhall and 4-0 over Lambient Florent from Belgium for Baggaley. Knight didn’t enjoy the best of luck with a 4-2 loss to Borcic Dorde from Serbia.

The Main draws for the Mens and Women’s begin on Thursday with stars such as Ma long and Ma Lin in action.
