Philip’s Diary

Ulster & Ireland International players Paul Mcreery , Keith Knox and I (Philip Jamison) had the great opportunity to train with the Ladies Table Tennis Jordan Paralympic team, in preparation for London.

Jordan Women’s Paralympic Team

They have competed in the last 3 Olympics winning medals in each Olympics in there classes of disability . It has been a fantastic experience to play these players.

About Philip

I’m 21 I have my own self employed business which I have been running now for 10months coaching in primary schools & clubs across co.antrim, northern Ireland . I play for ulster at U21 level & regular coach the cadets I was offered the chance to train with the paraolympians .

The level of table tennis was way higher than what I was expecting . These players can hit the ball just as hard and are real athletes & a inspiration to anybody who has a disability or is wheelchair bound . Finally I highly recommend when ParaOlympics table tennis is shown on tv on ch4 that every1 checks it out it’s amazing :)
